What Are The Best Prepaid Wireless Cell Phone Plans?

Prepaid wireless cell phone service is taking the United States by storm. What was once an option for only credit challenged customers is fast becoming a preference for bargain hunters of all class. The poor economy has obviously been the catalyst for the prepaid movement.

Prepaid cell phones are attractive because monthly fees can be substantially reduced and there's no contract. You pay upfront for what you need. Not surprisingly, cell phone companies are now being forced to compete for the prepaid customer business. And more competition means better deals for the consumer.

Roll Over vs. Expired Minutes

If possible, try to get a prepaid wireless plan that allows for roll over minutes. Some plans may not allow customers to roll over their unused minutes. The Net10 LG 300G, for example, has 300 minutes minimum purchase without the ability to roll over any unused minutes. Basically the 300 minutes must be used within 60 days or the unused time is forfeited. This works out to $15 a month.

If you want to convert your Apple iTouch into a cellphone and receive free wireless service, follow these simple instructions:

Other wireless plans have a roll over feature that allows customers to roll over their unused service, usually for up to a year. Additionally, some companies allow users to buy extra minutes based upon a set amount of minutes and price, while others allow customers to add what ever amount they desire.

There are basically four major Prepaid Cell Phone Plans:

1. Pay as you go (PAYG)

2. Monthly plan

3. Daily plan

4. Unlimited plan

Net10 unlimited is the best plan easily. Net10 unlimited not only has good rates it runs on both the at&t and Verizon networks. I really dont think that there is any phone company out there that can compete with net10 from a price or service standpoint.
